Linking 'direct' and PDP capability tagging

Please can a direct link to the curriculum automatically link to a PDP capability. It is too burdensome to link to both.

  Hi,

  Thanks for this suggestion, I think we may not have made it clear enough what the purpose of direct mapping is. 

  When mapping your activities to the curriculum, the default view is to map via the Active PDP. This is the College recommended way of mapping activities and ensures that your mapping is not only linked to a capability, but also to the correct PDP item.

  The option to map directly to curricula is available for those users that want to show that an activity demonstrates one or more capabilities, but is not related to a current PDP item.

  Mapping directly should only be done for this specific reason.

  I hope this helps clarify the difference between the two. We will review our guidance to ensure this information is clear.
