Career entry %FT make compulsory

Hi,

Quick one here (more complicated one coming soon!).  Many trainees don’t complete the “ % Full Time “ box on the career entry form, which can make it very hard for an ARCP panel to know where the trainee is in training (for example if they are 60, 80 or 100% Full time).  Could this box be made compulsory, ie you can’t submit the entry until it is completed, like some of the WBPA forms.   Thanks,  Chris O’L

  Thank you for this suggestion, Chris.

  We have now implemented this change.

  The '% Full time' field on the career entry form was originally designed to be left blank by trainees if they are full time and only completed by trainees who are less than full time. If trainees who work less than 100% do not complete this section of the form then, as you point out, ARCP panels will not know where a trainee is in training.

  Making the '% Full time' a required field prevents this from happening. The field now has the red 'required field' asterisk & looks like this:
