Could there be an option for the trainer to “tick” that registers clear improvement in this area. The reason behind this is that some supervisors score very highly in everything so it is hard to see extra improvements whereas other supervisors feel that “satisfactory “ is a very positive response and refuse to go above it. This way they could stick with “satisfactory “ whilst acknowledging there has been improvement.
It is important that feedback clearly flags direction of change.
