Two mandatory diagnosis fields on assessments

Hi,

 

Myself and my consultant have noticed that when filling out assessments e.g. mini-ACE or ACE, in the diagnosis section there are 2 boxes which are compulsory to fill in. In some cases the patient only has one diagnosis, so we were just wondering why both are mandatory? (Both have a red asterisk next to them and won't allow the form to be completed without both boxes being filled it)

  Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

  You're absolutely right, they shouldn't both be required fields. We have put it in our project plan to edit this. In the meantime, please type 'none' into the second field and accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused!

  Dear Emily,

  I've just done a review of suggestions made on the forum and I can confirm that this change has now been implemented. This section of the relevant forms now only has one required field (marked with a red asterisk) & looks like this:
