Completing a Psychiatric Supervision Report

A guide for supervisors on how to complete a Psychiatric Supervision Report on Portfolio Online.

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click on + New Review on the trainee's portfolio card on your Dashboard.
3. Select Psychiatric Supervisor Report from the drop-down.
4. Specify the framework you are reviewing against.
5. Choose the post you are reviewing.
6. Select the date of the review.
7. Click on Start Review.
8. Click on the + symbol next to the GPC Domains to see more information about each domain in the GPC Framework and any evidence that is mapped to it.
9. Enter a performance rating for the GPC domain and complete the fields on the form
10. Click on Submit or Save Draft
    
    • When you click on Submit, provided all the required fields have been completed, the report will be published to the trainee's portfolio. The trainee will be able to see your ratings and your comments and the form will be made available to others such as the trainee's other supervisors & those involved in the trainee's ARCP. Completed forms can be found on the Forms page of a supervisor's portfolio.
    • When you save the form as draft, you will still be able to edit it and a notification will appear in the Outstanding Tasks section of your Dashboard to prompt you to complete the form the next time you log in.
