Map an Activity to Curricula

This step-by-step guide is for trainees or those in non-training posts with a portfolio on Portfolio Online who wish to map the activities in their portfolio to 2022 curricula.

Once an activity has been submitted to a portfolio on Portfolio Online it can be mapped to curricula as evidence. Activities can be mapped to your post and Personal Development Plan (PDP) if you have one or directly to curricula.

1. Log in to your account on Portfolio Online.
2. Click on the link to your portfolio.
3. Go to your Activities page.
   • if the activity you want to map to the curriculum is a Work Place Based Assessment (WPBA), it may be easier to find your activity on the Assessments page.
   • use the search box, filters or tags to further narrow-down your search.
4. Click on the link to your activity
   • Please note that case logs can't be mapped to curricula. Why can't case logs be mapped to curricula?
5. Click on Capabilities.
6. Your current post should be displayed in the drop-down by default if you have one.
   • If your post isn't correct, or you don't have one, check that you have posts on the Career History page of your portfolio and that they are accurate and have been submitted.
   • If you don't have any PDP Items for a post, you'll need to add them.
7. Click on the toggle buttons for the capabilities that are relevant to this activity in order to map them.
