When you log in to your account as an ARCP reviewer, the first page you will see is your dashboard. This will show you information useful to your role as an ARCP reviewer. If you hold other roles, such as a supervisor, or Training Programme Director you will see information useful to those roles too.
When a deanery administrator schedules an ARCP for a trainee on Portfolio Online, read access to the trainee's portfolio is automatically granted to all ARCP reviewers registered to the trainee's school two weeks before the ARCP review date and is revoked the day after the review. This gives reviewers the opportunity to review a trainee's portfolio for ARCP in advance of the trainee's ARCP date.
If you are not a reviewer for your school and need to be, contact your deanery. Deanery administrators are the ones who can add an ARCP Reviewer to a school. If you haven't used Portfolio Online before, this will be a new account. If you already have an account on Portfolio Online, your ARCP reviewer permissions should be added to your existing account. Either way, you'll receive an email from us asking you to accept the ARCP Reviewer role.
To see a visualisation of the different stages of an ARCP on Portfolio Online along with a key to the different roles in the process see our article The ARCP Timeline & Roles.
