Once a trainee has completed a mini-PAT assessment, a note will appear on the dashboard of anyone who the trainee has registered as a supervisor stating that the trainee's feedback is ready for release. Trainees cannot access their feedback from their own account until it has been released to them.
Please note that feedback should always be delivered to the trainee by a supervisor in a face to face meeting to ensure that it is received in an educationally supportive environment.
Step 1: Go to the dashboard of your supervisor account on Portfolio Online.
Step 2: Click on 'View MSF' in the section 'Outstanding Tasks'.
This will take you the collated feedback for the mini-PAT and a list of assessors the trainee nominated to complete the assessment.
Supervisors can check that the trainee nominated the correct spread of assessors. They cannot, however, see which assessors completed the mini-PAT as this information is confidential.
Step 3: Check the box to acknowledge that the feedback has been delivered in an educationally supportive environment.
Step 4: Click on 'Release Feedback'.
Once the feedback has been released, it will automatically be stored as an activity in the trainee's online portfolio.
