The most flexible way of organising activities is through the use of the tagging option.
Tagging is a powerful way for trainees to define custom sections for filtering activities. Each activity can be tagged multiple times, either using some of the default suggestions or by creating tags. In this example, a case log has been given the tag of 'ADHD':
As you type your tags, suggestions will appear in a drop down box. One of the predefined tags can be selected or a new tag can be created; just keep typing and then use the comma to lock it in.
Now, when viewing the activities as a list, any tags in use can be seen at the top of the activities list. Here, ADHD, attitude, knowledge, skills have all been used as tags in various documents.
By checking the box next to a tag, all activities with that tag will be displayed.
There may be times when you want to hide the list of tags. This can be done using the toggle 'Show Tag Filters'.
Effective use of tags can help to easily find activities that relate to a particular subject. Look out for guidance from your deanery for specific tags that you should use in your regions when preparing for ARCP.
