One of the purposes of recording activities or assessments is so that trainees can use them to meet the requirements of curricula. Core trainees map to the core curriculum whereas those in ST4-6 map to the curricula for their specialty.
Each portfolio on Portfolio Online has a portfolio card; a visualisation that shows a summary of a portfolio to date. Viewing the portfolio card, one can quickly see how much evidence a curriculum has mapped to it.
The example portfolio above has at least 3 activities mapped to each of the 43 available competencies in Core Curriculum 2016. We know this, because the curriculum coverage bar is dark blue. It also has some activities mapped to the Key Capabilities in the General Psychiatry Curriculum 2022.
A portfolio card is interactive with links to the PDP, current folder, the curriculum coverage of a portfolio and ARCPs.
POtip: Curriculum coverage broken down by training level can be seen on the Folders page of a trainee's portfolio.
