There may be times when specialty trainees or those in non-training posts ask you to do a WPBA for them. They may do this by using the request a WPBA feature on Portfolio Online, in which case, you'll be able to start the assessment from the dashboard of your account on Portfolio Online.
If you need to do a WPBA on a specialty trainee you supervise but the trainee hasn't sent you an assessment request, you can. Here's how:
- In your account on Portfolio Online, go to Trainees > View All
- Select the name of the trainee from the list and click on +New Assessment
- Supervisors will also be able to start a WPBA on a trainee they supervise from the trainee's portfolio card on their dashboard.
- Complete the form.
- Click on Submit
- If you don't want to submit the form to your portfolio straight away, save it as draft
Saving the form will mean the form remains on the supervisor's dashboard as an outstanding task and will not appear in the trainee's portfolio. Once the form has been submitted it will appear as an activity in the trainee's portfolio.
