At the beginning of a training level and periodically throughout training, trainees will add personal development plan (PDP) items to their portfolio. Those who have non-training portfolios on Portfolio Online can also add PDP items to their portfolios if they wish. PDP items can be added from the dashboard page of your Portfolio Online account.
Step 1: Click on '+PDP Item' on the dashboard of your Portfolio Online account.
Step 2: Click on 'Create New Activity'.
Step 3: Complete the details on the form.
Step 4: Click on 'Submit' or 'Save as Draft'.
By clicking on 'Save as Draft', the PDP Item will be kept as private until it is submitted.
Once the PDP Item has been submitted, you can select a framework and map the PDP Item to a competency.
Step 5:Click on 'Competencies'.
Step 6: Select a Framework.
Step 6: Click on the toggle button next to the competency.
Once an objective has been realised, the PDP Item can be marked as complete.
